Enhancing Business Efficiency: Leap AI streamlines AI workflow integration

Leap AI is building a solution for these companies to easily integrate AI-powered workflows or even build their own using an easy process. It also has plans starting from $29 per month with more credits, no limit on building workflows with customer support. Why did the founders build Leap AI? Another unique aspect is that we provide the interoperability between multiple models, multiple vendors, and multiple companies,” he said. Leap AI is also working on improving context awareness of its workflows so it can leverage previously generated results.

With the rise in availability of diverse Generative AI models, many businesses are now incorporating advanced features such as summarization, prompt-based image generation, and even music-making into their solutions. Leap AI is leading the way by providing an easy and efficient solution for companies to integrate AI-powered workflows or to build their own in a simple process.

The company aims to cater to various use cases, ranging from consumer-facing apps like Songburst to internal tools for businesses. Leap AI offers ready-to-use templates for music and beat generators, as well as professional headshot generators. Alternatively, companies can design their own workflows using building blocks provided by the startup.

The startup offers a free plan with limited credits for AI model queries and a set number of workflows to test out their solution. Paid plans start at $29 per month with more credits, no limit on building workflows, and access to customer support.

Why did the founders build Leap AI?

In February 2023, Alex Schachne and Claudio Fuentes embarked on a journey to create Leap AI. Schachne had previously founded two companies in the edtech industry during his time at Johns Hopkins University, while Fuentes had experience starting several startups and working at companies like WeWork and Pypestream. After meeting at the Founders Inc. Studio incubator program, they joined forces to create Leap AI.

“We were invited to the studio as creators with no solid idea. They challenged us to collaborate and build something. We started developing AI-powered tools for consumers, such as generating children’s stories for parents,” shared the co-founders with TechCrunch during a call.

“While creating these tools, we realized it was a tedious process to manage the orchestration between multiple AI models. Our solution? Automate the process and create an engine that runs in the background, effectively enhancing your work,” they continued.

Funding and the future

Leap AI recently secured a $1.4 million seed round, led by Founders Inc., with contributions from Carya Venture Partners, Gaingels, Sentry founder David Cramer, Supabase founder Paul Copplestone, as well as executives from Google and AngelList.

The company has already gained a few notable clients, including Heineken, Inflection, and Live Nation. According to the co-founders, Live Nation utilizes their solution to build an internal tool that generates consistent branded assets.

The company shared that it is consistently striving to improve its products by incorporating its own workflows in tasks like customer support and content generation.

Fuentes explained that the company’s ability to run AI-powered tasks sets it apart from traditional, agent-based solutions.

“One aspect that sets us apart is the ability to schedule these tasks to operate automatically in the background, without needing constant input from the user. Another unique feature is our interoperability between multiple AI models, vendors, and companies,” he stated.

Schachne believes that forming partnerships, like integrations with Zapier, Vercel, and Superbase, will give Leap AI a competitive edge.

The company is also investing resources into revamping its workflow builder, shifting from a fixed-step approach to a chain of thought reasoning to achieve a goal. Additionally, Leap AI is working on improving context awareness within its workflows, allowing for leveraging of previously generated results.
