“Against All Odds: Urvashi Barooah’s Venture Success Story”

Urvashi Rp Headshots 2023 1651
When Urvashi Barooah applied to MBA programs in 2015, she focused her applications around her dream of becoming a venture capitalist. She got rejected from every school, and was told she was being unrealistic about her prospects in the venture industry, but she didn’t let that deter her. She landed a spot at Wharton and said she catered all of her classes and extra cirriculars around learning everything she could about the venture industry. While growing up with entrepreneur parents didn’t introduce Barooah to venture capital, she thinks her upbringing makes her a better VC. “I started my journey in venture four years ago and knew nothing,” Barooah said.

Innovative Moon Lander by Intuitive Machines: Advancing Space Exploration with Revolutionary Rocket Propulsion at a Reduced Cost

Intuitive Machines Odysseus Descending 1
Intuitive Machines’ first lunar lander officially lost power today after spending seven days on the moon. That propulsion system, which uses a combination of cryogenic liquid oxygen and liquid methane, could unlock new capabilities in space and de-risk future missions by other commercial providers. Before Intuitive Machines’ IM-1 mission, no lander had ever used this combination of propellants. After the successful launch, Intuitive Machines’ also ran into a brief issue chilling the liquid oxygen feed line, which took longer than anticipated. Two VR900 engines will also be used on Intuitive Machines’ much larger “Nova-D” spacecraft, to deliver 500-750 kilograms of payload to the moon.

Shattering My Wrist: Navigating Recovery with the Aid of Meta Quest 3 and the Supernatural

Hero Mr.png
Generally, I’m an extremely active person who primarily enjoys weight training, and it’s a key component of my mental well-being as well as my physical health. What I didn’t expect was finding relief by way of virtual boxing. I had been using Supernatural on my Meta Quest 3 headset since picking one up at launch, and found it surprisingly compelling even before my injury — despite my long-held opinion that no one wants to work out in a sweaty headset. Supernatural is also helping with my rehabilitation as I build back range of motion and flexibility in my now mostly healed wrist. The injury just made me realize at a very accelerated pace what the company saw in Supernatural in terms of lasting, sticky appeal for home VR use.
