“Customize Your Stickers with WhatsApp’s New In-App Feature”

WhatsApp announced today that it’s launching a new feature on iOS that lets users create, edit and share their own stickers. You can personalize stickers using WhatsApp’s suite of editing tools, including text, drawing and the ability to overlay other stickers. Once you send a custom sticker, it will automatically be saved in your sticker tray so you can use it again whenever you would like to. If you want to edit an existing sticker, you need to open the sticker tray and long press the sticker you want to edit. WhatsApp says the new sticker maker, which is already available on WhatsApp web, is rolling out on iOS 17+ over the coming days.

Good news for iPhone users! WhatsApp has introduced a new feature for iOS that will allow you to create, customize, and share your very own stickers. The process is now simpler and more convenient, eliminating the need to use third-party apps or drag-and-drop images from your photo gallery. This feature is available on the Meta-owned messaging app, making it easier for you to express yourself through personalized stickers.

“With this new feature, you can turn your photos into stickers or personalize existing stickers.”

To make your stickers truly unique, WhatsApp offers a range of editing tools including text, drawing, and the option to overlay other stickers. Your custom stickers will be automatically saved in the sticker tray after they are sent, making it effortless to reuse them whenever you want.

To start creating your own sticker, simply open the sticker tray by selecting the sticker icon on the right side of the text box. From there, choose the “create sticker” option and select a photo from your gallery. You can then add a cutout, text, other stickers, or even draw on the photo to personalize your sticker. Once you’re satisfied with your creation, send it to your friends and family.

If you prefer to edit an existing sticker, you can do so by opening the sticker tray and long-pressing on the sticker you want to modify. Then, select the “edit sticker” button and customize it to your liking before sending it out.

The sticker maker feature is already available on WhatsApp web and will be gradually rolling out to iOS 17+ users in the next few days. Unfortunately, there is no timeline for when it will be available for Android users, but we can hope for its release soon.
