Such is the case with Anthropic and its latest research which demonstrates an interesting vulnerability in current LLM technology. Of course given progress in open-source AI technology, you can spin up your own LLM locally and just ask it whatever you want, but for more consumer-grade stuff this is an issue worth pondering. But the closer we get to more generalized AI intelligence, the more it should resemble a thinking entity, and not a computer that we can program, right? If so, we might have a harder time nailing down edge cases to the point when that work becomes unfeasible? Anyway, let’s talk about what Anthropic recently shared.

Light therapy lamps have become increasingly popular as a result. These products rely on the visible light spectrum, in a bid to mimic the sun’s impact for those of us who spend more of our waking hours in front of a computer than we care to mention. More recently, use of the “near-infrared” (NIR) segment of the light spectrum has been growing in popularity as a potential alternative to visible light. As the name implies, the segment sits between infrared and visible light, at around 600 and 1000 nanometers. That said, it’s probably still safe to suggest that the jury is still out on a lot of this stuff.

The app, which includes instant cash offers and pickup, promises an easier way to sell your stuff. That led to TipTop’s first product, TipTop Cash, which makes it easy to sell the items you own. “TipTop Cash works like a reverse Postmates,” Lehmann explains. (Due to higher fraud risks, these may not be instant cash offers, however.) When they no longer needed the phone, they could unload it through TipTop Cash and buy their new one.
