In spite of its early success, Cube faced several challenges as it built out its product. Initially, the company struggled to find enough volunteers who were willing to beta test the product, and then had trouble convince businesses to pay for a service that they believed was still in beta. However, by focusing on meeting people where they were–in coffee shops and other casual areas–Cube was able to build a solution that fit their needs. In the end, it was this approach that helped Cube gain popularity quickly and set it up for continued success in the future.
