Initially, the company struggled to find enough volunteers who were willing to beta test the product, and then had trouble convince businesses to pay for a service that they believed was still in beta. However, by focusing on meeting people where they were–in coffee shops and other casual areas–Cube was able to build a solution that fit their needs. In the end, it was this approach that helped Cube gain popularity quickly and set it up for continued success in the future.
