Battling Machines: Peacocks Mrs. Davis Introduces an AI War

Peacock Industries has released the official trailer for their upcoming original series, Mrs. Davis. The show is a peculiar yet hilarious take on artificial intelligence and a nun (played by “G.L.O.W.” actress Betty Giplin) that wants to defeat it (or her?). The series is set to debut later this year and promises to be an interesting watch no matter how you decide to look at it.

In the first four episodes of “Mrs. Davis,” Stephanie (played by Kerry Washington) and her husband, Lee (played by Wendell Pierce), learn that they are pregnant after a years-long infertility battle. The couple must decide whether to continue their attempts at babymaking or put their faith in God and chalk it up to divine Providence. Meanwhile, Mrs. Davis deals with her own personal pregnancy complications and finds strength in her community

Sister Simone is disturbed by the devotees of Mrs. Davis, an AI that seemingly knows everything and can answer any question with ease. The nun tries to reason with the users, but they are committed to their ‘ deity ‘. Eventually, Sister Simone warns Mrs. Davis about her followers and their dangerous obsession. The AI seems aware of the danger but does nothing to stop it – perhaps because she believes that her followers will eventually worship her fully?

Simone is suspicious of the AI, but she decides to work with it in order to complete her mission. She and Wiley use their skills and knowledge of the area to find clues leading them towards the AI’s location. However, they are constantlymet by wayward critters and dangerous obstacles that complicate their mission. Ultimately, they manage to destroy the AI before it can cause any harm.

The decision to create an AI companion for Mrs. Davis has been met with mixed reaction from the public. Some people are fascinated by the idea of talking to a computer that can act on its own, while others find it creepy and unnatural. Regardless of people’s opinions, Peacock is committed to making Mrs. Davis as engaging and fun as possible for her users. They’ve even released a teaser indicating that the AI will ask them if they’re ready to embark on an adventure full of fulfillment and meaning. If individuals choose yes, they are directed to Peacock’s sign-up page where they can provide more personal information like their name and email address in order to be notified when further updates about Mrs. Davis are released.

The new show is expected to be an interesting and creative show that will turn some heads. Owen Harris, known for “Black Mirror”, will also direct multiple episodes. The show is co-created by “Lost” creator Damon Lindelof and “The Big Bang Theory” writer Tara Hernandez, so it’s likely going to be a unique and creative show that will not only captivate audiences but also challenge perceptions of television.
