“Revolutionizing WhatsApp Business: The Integration of AI-Powered Functionality by Meta”

Ai For Businesses Whatsapp Feat
Today, Meta announced AI-powered features for WhatsApp Business apps, such as helping with the creation of click-to-WhatsApp ads and generating responses to frequent customer messages. WhatsApp Business users will be able to leverage AI to create Facebook and Instagram ads that can start a WhatsApp chat with a business. The company said it is testing AI-powered customer support, which will automatically answer customer queries related to catalog or frequently asked questions. Meta noted that it plans to denote AI-generated messages clearly so customers know that they are not talking to a representative of a company. While Meta is offering these tools without a cost, its primary driver for revenue on the WhatsApp Business platform is businesses having more conversations with customers.

“Exploring the Potential of AirChat: Will it Soar or Follow in Clubhouse’s Footsteps?”

Airchat Pattern V1
AirChat, the buzzy new social app, could be great – or, it could succumb to the same fate as ClubhouseOver the weekend, another social media platform exploded into the fray: AirChat. Built by AngelList founder Naval Ravikant and former Tinder exec Brian Norgard, Airchat takes a refreshingly intimate approach to social media. What I do consider a red flag is AirChat’s naive approach to content moderation. Clubhouse’s approach to content moderation was even more permissive, since there was no way to block people for months after launch – AirChat already has block and mute features, thankfully. With this minimalist approach to content moderation, it’s not hard to see how AirChat could get into hot water.

“a16z-supported Rewind shifts to crafting conversation-capturing pendant enhanced with artificial intelligence technology”

Limitless Pendant
The company has rebranded to “Limitless,” and is now offering an AI-powered meeting suite and a hardware pendant that can record your conversations. Company co-founder Dan Siroker first posted the idea of a conversation-recording pendant last October and started accepting orders at $59. Siroker posted the final design this week, along with the news of the company’s pivot. It’s a web app, Mac app, Windows app, and a wearable. We plan to reimplement many of our user’s favorite Rewind features directly into Limitless,” Siroker said.

Android Users Can Now Search Conversations by Date using WhatsApp

Generic Whatsapp Search By Date 1920x1080
WhatsApp announced today that it is rolling out a “search by date” function for individual and group chats on Android devices. Users can only search for a chat on a particular date instead of specifying a date range. To use the feature, users have to go a one-on-one or group chat details by tapping on the contact or the group name. To search by date, they have to tap on the search button and then tap the calendar icon. Users can already search through conversations by media type such as links, media, and docs through the conversation detail page.

“Upgrade in store: Cutting-edge hardware and generative AI enhances the ElliQ eldercare robot’s conversational abilities”

Elliq 3.0 G
In some parts of the world (read: Japan, primarily), eldercare has been an important robotics focus for decades. In Tel Aviv, meanwhile, Intuition Robotics has been promoting a “companion” robot since 2016 or so. The latest version of the robot features design tweaks, more powerful hardware and — of course — generative AI integration. The company is exploring other avenues with generative AI, as well here. “One example is the ability to paint or write poems together, activities that contribute to cognitive wellness and creativity,” Intuition notes.
