The company first started working with Mr. Bricolage, a popular DIY retailer in France. Dealt operates a white-label platform for Mr. Bricolage so that it can upsell its own clients with services. After that, retailers like Mr. Bricolage can provide services and generate new revenue lines as they take a cut on each transaction. Other Dealt clients include Fnac-Darty, Orange, E.Leclerc, Conforama, Boulanger, 3Suisses and Rue du Commerce. Some of these retailers work with Dealt to provide services that aren’t necessarily related to a new purchase.

“a16z-supported Rewind shifts to crafting conversation-capturing pendant enhanced with artificial intelligence technology”

Limitless Pendant
The company has rebranded to “Limitless,” and is now offering an AI-powered meeting suite and a hardware pendant that can record your conversations. Company co-founder Dan Siroker first posted the idea of a conversation-recording pendant last October and started accepting orders at $59. Siroker posted the final design this week, along with the news of the company’s pivot. It’s a web app, Mac app, Windows app, and a wearable. We plan to reimplement many of our user’s favorite Rewind features directly into Limitless,” Siroker said.

Block Party Go Green: Block Party Changes Direction and Prioritizes Privacy

Block Party Sxsw 2024
The original version of Block Party was built on top of Twitter’s API to automate the process of blocking bad actors, trolls, harassers, and others. However, Twitter’s API crackdown meant that Block Party’s ability to operate was immediately impacted. That product, now on hiatus, has since been rebranded Block Party Classic. Privacy Party will also act like middleware here, allowing users to interact with platforms and services to adjust their privacy settings with fewer clicks. “They also present controls that you have including an additional level of control that automates finding and fixing privacy settings for you.”Chou did not say when Privacy Party would exit beta, but it’s free to use for the time being.
