Amazon is piloting a new Prime tier in India, offering popular benefits like free two-day delivery and ad-supported Prime Video in standard definition for an affordable price.
Since 2016, Amazon’s Prime membership has been available in India for $12/year–until December 2021 when the price rose to $18/year. In comparison, U.S. customers can access Prime at a rate of either $139 annually or just under $15 per month.
