Free Stream of the Inaugural Black Friday NFL Game on Prime Video!

This is excellent news for football fans who can’t afford to subscribe to Amazon Prime Video, as the game will now be free-to-watch on Prime Video regardless of whether or not you are a subscriber. This gives even more people an opportunity to get into the football spirit and watch their favorite teams play without having to worry about budget restrictions.

Although this is the first time that the NFL has had a game on Thanksgiving, it is not the first time that Amazon has given away a game for free. In 2010, Amazon allowed viewers to watch Super Bowl XLIV for no cost whatsoever. This year’s giveaway is also unique in that it is the day after Thanksgiving instead of just another day during the football season.

NFL fans have been eagerly awaiting the Black Friday game every year since its inception. Many avid football followers will be tuning in to see who their favorite team is competing against on this infamous holiday weekend.

Jay Marine announced that Prime Video will be streaming the first Black Friday NFL game live on their website. This game is sure to get football fans into the holiday spirit, as families spend time together over the weekend.

The NFL has been known for its Thanksgiving games. 2019′s showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and the Las Vegas Raiders was watched by 38.5 million viewers. Black Friday is sure to be a hit with even more people able to watch at home, giving the game high viewership ratings.

What makes Prime Video’s exclusive deal with the NFL so valuable to Amazon is the exclusive zeitgeist it grants to the streaming service. The TNF broadcasts appeal especially to a younger demographic who are both sports fans and Amazon Prime members, greatly amplifying viewership. Furthermore, given that Prime Video operates as part of Amazon’s core entertainment offering, it gives customers access to content at all hours of the day–essential for any television service looking to build loyal subscribers.
