Apple Confirms Release of Vision Pro Spatial Computing Device in the U.S.
Great news for tech enthusiasts! Apple has officially confirmed the launch of its highly anticipated Vision Pro in the U.S. market on February 2. The pre-orders for the innovative spatial computing device will open on Friday, January 19 at 5AM PT, so mark your calendars!

According to Apple, “Players can access a plethora of games on the App Store, including over 250 titles on Apple Arcade. Popular games like NBA 2K24 Arcade Edition and Sonic Dream Team can now be played on a larger screen, with enhanced audio and support for popular game controllers. And that’s not all! The new spatial gaming line-up, featuring titles like Game Room, What the Golf?, and Super Fruit Ninja, takes full advantage of the powerful capabilities of Apple Vision Pro to transform your gaming experience.”
But that’s not the end of the list. Apple has also announced the launch of a FaceTime experience exclusively designed for the Vision Pro. In their own words, “FaceTime on Apple Vision Pro utilizes the space around you, making everyone on the call appear life-size. And with Spatial Audio, it will seem like every participant’s voice is coming from their respective tile.”
As a bonus, Apple will also be offering ZEISS Optical Inserts at the time of launch. The lenses can be conveniently snapped onto the headset magnetically, providing a customizable and comfortable fit. While prescription lenses will cost you $149, standard readers come at a more affordable price of $99.
That’s not all – with the release of Vision Pro, Apple will also be unveiling their latest operating system, VisionOS, which is exclusively built for the new hardware. According to Apple:
