SingleInterface Raises $30 Million in First External Fundraising Round

SingleInterface, a revolutionary SaaS startup, is making waves in the world of offline businesses by providing them with powerful tools to expand their revenues through leveraging the web. And now, with its successful maiden external fundraising round bringing in $30 million, this Singaporean startup is focused on global expansion and further improving its products to better serve leading international brands.

Offline Businesses Embrace Online Marketing Strategies to Boost Revenues

In today’s digital age, having an online presence is crucial for businesses to attract customers and increase their revenues. This trend is evident across major markets such as the U.S., Asia, and Europe. The primary driving force behind this shift is the rising number of internet users worldwide. According to the International Telecommunication Union, out of the world’s total population of 5.4 billion, approximately 67% or 4.7 billion people are now connected online. This represents a 4.7% growth since 2022. In comparison, the United Nations’ agency reports that the global offline population has steadily declined to 2.6 billion in 2023.

SingleInterface Addresses the Challenge of Getting Offline Businesses Online

Despite the growing importance of having an online presence, many businesses struggle to find a comprehensive solution to establish themselves in the digital world. Some services only help with building a website while others simply assist with getting listed on search engines. Furthermore, some solutions are tailored to a specific sector, leaving businesses with limited options. This is where SingleInterface steps in, offering a suite of products that cater to multi-location brands, regardless of their industry – whether it’s in the food and beverage, retail, or automotive sector.

How SingleInterface Empowers Businesses to Establish a Strong Online Presence

With over 400 multi-location brands from India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East on board, SingleInterface helps enterprises manage their digital presence for their physical stores and retail outlets. Its diverse range of tools enables businesses to drive customer engagement online, increase online visibility through search engines and maps listings, manage feedback and reviews, and even create SEO-friendly websites with valuable insights for each location. The startup also utilizes AI to simplify the process of digitizing thousands of stores at once.

Tarun Sobhani, SingleInterface’s Co-Founder and CEO, Shares How the Startup Drives Business Growth

In an interview with TechCrunch, Tarun Sobhani explained how SingleInterface’s products help businesses increase their revenues by 15-20%. He stated, “Devising marketing strategies at a storefront level is a tedious task for any brand, considering the thousands of stores they may have. That’s where the AI automation piece becomes crucial, as it enables better marketing ROI for each store.”

SingleInterface’s Comprehensive Solutions Leave No Gap for Businesses

Along with providing the ability to create detailed store-level websites for local stores, SingleInterface also gives businesses the power to run localized offers and events and communicate effectively through platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Google Business Messages. The startup also assists multi-location brands in understanding why some stores have lower ratings while others receive four or five-star ratings. Additionally, it helps run online campaigns for different locations from a single source and optimize them based on their local competitors, market dynamics, and unique business hours.

SingleInterface’s Impressive Customer Base

SingleInterface has already onboarded renowned brands such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Nissan, Apollo Tyres, HDFC Bank, and TVS Motors, as well as multiple group companies from large Indian conglomerates such as Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group, and Bajaj Group. The startup is also scaling its presence in Southeast Asia and Australia and has plans to enter Japan and Korea soon, along with expanding its operations in the Middle East.

Asia Partners Leads SingleInterface’s All-Equity Round with Participation from PayPal Ventures

The successful fundraising round was led by Singapore’s growth investment firm Asia Partners, with support from PayPal Ventures. These funds will be used to accelerate global expansion and continue investing in SingleInterface’s cutting-edge products, further enhancing the consumer experience. In an interview with TechCrunch, Sobhani shared that before this round, the startup was self-funded. However, he confirmed that SingleInterface started offering its tools to customers in 2017, two years after co-founders Sobhani and Harish Bahl, founder of venture-building firm Smile Group, started the venture in 2015.

Exciting Plans for Future Growth and Expansion

As of now, SingleInterface has a team of 235 professionals, mostly based in India, with its development center located in New Delhi. Sobhani stated that the startup aims to hire many employees in the Asia-Pacific region to bolster its presence in the market. He added that he is “pleased to partner with Tarun, Harish, and the entire SingleInterface team in their quest to achieve their growth aspirations not only in India but also globally. SingleInterface has proven to play a vital role in driving customer engagement and commerce for leading enterprises over the years, establishing itself as a dominant player in the region by integrating offline and online customer journeys to generate growth for physical retail locations,” said Oliver Rippel, co-founder of Asia Partners, in an official statement.
