In this case, it’s relying on Google Search (which in reality could or could not be accurate). “We’re now bringing you grounding in Google Search, bringing the power of the world’s knowledge that Google Search offers through our grounding service to models.

Microsoft Copilot Bing
Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft’s AI-powered chatbot, can now compose songs thanks to an integration with gen AI music app Suno. From a single sentence, Suno can generate complete songs — including lyrics, instrumentals and singing voices. Meta has published several of its experiments with AI music generation. Stability AI’s own gen AI audio lead quit after saying that gen AI “exploits creators,” and the Grammys have banned fully AI-generated song from consideration for awards. Clarity on the legal status of gen AI music may arrive soon — if not from court decisions.

French startup Pivot is an interesting startup story as it is scaling at a rapid pace even though startup investments are down in Europe. After raising a $5.3 million pre-seed round in April (€5 million), the company worked on the first iteration of its procurement tool over the summer. And feedback has been so great that Pivot is raising another $21.6 million (€20 million) in a new Series A round from its existing investors — and in particular Visionaries, Emblem, Anamcara and Oliver Samwer. I already wrote a lengthy description of Pivot, so I also encourage you to read my previous article on the startup. But in short, Pivot is a modern spend management solution that supposedly works better than Oracle NetSuite’s procurement component or Coupa.
