The startup charges a listing fee (subscription fee) to publish jobs on the platform and a success fee when a hire is made.
“The listing fee ensures buy-in from startups to the two-way marketplace and a commitment to the recruiters they’re working with,” Kim said.
In addition to early- and late-stage startups, Kim said the platform also works with larger in-house talent teams to fill challenging roles.
“More than 50% of our customers have great in-house talent teams, but they continue to post roles on Paraform.
“We’re already branching out into research, science, manufacturing and defense roles due to the demand we’re seeing from potential customers,” Kim said.
It’s tough out there — and yet, doing my semi-regular jobs post always gives me hope.
Seems every time I post one of these, the number increases.
At 74 companies, this is undoubtedly the largest list we’ve made, by a wide margin.
That means more work for me in putting this post together, but if it helps a few folks find some work, it was definitely worth it.

Checkr, a 10-year-old startup that offers employee background checks and was last valued at $5 billion in April 2022, has laid off 382 employees as companies are not significantly hiring talent.
TechCrunch exclusively learned that Checkr conducted the layoffs across all departments and different levels on Tuesday.
“In response to economic conditions that have impacted companies’ hiring, we made the difficult and painful decision to reduce the size of our team.
This will allow us to operate more efficiently and ensure the long-term health of our business,” a Checkr spokesperson said in the statement.
The job cuts — which affected 32% of the company’s workforce — came nearly two years after Checkr announced the acquisition of Inflection, the startup behind GoodHire, a background-checking platform for small- and mid-sized businesses.
Hiring portal Indeed has redesigned the profile page for users, allowing individuals to use an AI-powered writer to fill up work experience and also added support for multiple resumes.
The company has also launched a set of smart sourcing suites for recruiters with features like AI-powered candidate summaries and custom messages.
The new AI-powered work experience writer helps people form better descriptions of different projects.
The job seeking portal already had a toggle to make a user’s profile visible to recruiters.
Indeed is also adding AI-powered smart messaging and automated interview scheduling.
So they launched Metaview, an AI-powered note-taking app for recruiters and hiring managers that records, analyzes and summarizes job interviews.
“Metaview is an AI note-taker built specifically for the hiring process,” Magos said.
“It helps recruiters and hiring managers focus more on getting to know candidates and less on extracting data from the conversations.
“Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet all have transcription built in, which is a possible alternative to Metaview,” Magos said.
I’m skeptical and a bit wary, too, of Metaview’s approach to how it handles speech data.
It’s extremely heartening to see our little list effectively double since the last time we did one of these.
While it’s true that layoffs continue to plague the tech industry at large, there are few better fields to be expert in at the moment than Robotics and AI.
With more than 60 entries this week, there are plenty of jobs and companies to choose from, across a broad range of different segments from mail sorting to surgery to space.
To everyone who lost a job, recently graduated or is just looking for something new, here’s to finding your next big thing.

Startups are hiring fewer workers, and paying out less in equity compListen here or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hello, and welcome back to Equity, the podcast about the business of startups, where we unpack the numbers and nuance behind the headlines.
This is our Wednesday episode, in which we dig into critical startup news to stay abreast of what founders and venture capitalists are working on.
Today on the podcast, we got through the following:
The company is part of an increasing number of resume and skill apps that are trying to combat discrimination in the hiring process.
Hellohive hosts virtual networking programs between companies and candidates on the app, with clients including Goldman Sachs, American Express, and Morgan Stanley.
Hellohive’s holistic approach to hiring is important right now especially, as companies have been shifting away from DEI commitments.
Candidates also complete a course model that prepares them for the job recruitment process.
They then express interest in an employer on the app, and the hiring process formally kicks off.
When an employee is hired, the company makes a large financial investment in that person. The expense involved in recruiting, training and onboarding that new employee can equal 50% or…
Startup founders must be laser focused on the people in their company if they want to survive and grow during these difficult times. When hiring, there is no room for…
